Help Northern Kentucky's Wild Birds

Hi, my name is Shad Hayes, I'm 35 and I live in Northern Kentucky. The reason I am making this page, is on behalf of a very thoughtful, selfless lady named Ginger Rood.
I found out about Ginger from this recent article, if you'd like to read it, it's here:

Ginger has been caring for, and rehabilitating Northern Kentucky's injured wild birds for 20 years or so. In that time she has saved and nurtured thousands of birds, back to health, enough to be able to be re-released into the wild. And all of that, from inside her own home. She has no special space to do so, and no particular way of funding her services either, as far as I understand. And personally, I find that absolutely.. loving, and selfless.
According to the article, it cost's about $4000-6000/yr. in supplies, for Ginger to care for the birds. So I am making this page with a $6000 goal, in the hopes of being able to help her fund her operation for one year, for now. However, I would just like to say that I would be very happy, with any donations at all, and would enjoy very much if we can help Ginger, and NKY's birds at all..
Apparantly, Ginger is the only official rehabilitator of Wild Birds in the State of Kentucky. While I'm not entirely sure what that means, the reason I mention it is because that information is Google-able, just in case you're wondering on whom exactly I intend on giving this money to..
It also states in the article that what she really needs is a center to do her work from, instead of her house. Because she has willing and able volunteers, other thoughtful people who want to help her care for the birds, but she literally has no room to do so, being as she operates currently out of her own home. So I thought I would mention that here, in case anybody has any bright, generous idea of how to help her achieve something such as a proper center to work from..
