Help me fight cancer

Hi my name is Lizbeth, and this fundraiser is for my aunt, Maria. My aunt was diagnosed with breast cancer in December of 2023. They found out that she had ductal carcinoma (DCIS) on the left breast.

DCIS is the earliest form of breast cancer, it’s not that invasive and it can be stop before it spreads out but it does require treatment and surgery with radiation to remove all tissue. Of course, there is no coverage for most of the treatment, prescriptions, travel costs to and the appointments as well as the time my Uncle has taken off of work in order to support my Aunt through her appointments. As you can imagine, the costs have added up.

My aunt is a lovely person, she is always there for her family and encourages us through anything. She is everything to her family, we want to help support her through this. My aunt is a fighter and we’re hopeful she will be able to defeat this cancer.

I’m reaching out to the community to try and help my aunt get through this. It would be a huge help to her.

Hola mi nombre es Lizbeth y esta recaudación de fondos es para mi tía María. A mi tía le diagnosticaron cáncer de mama en diciembre de 2023. Descubrieron que tenía carcinoma ductal (DCIS) en el seno izquierdo. El DCIS es la forma más temprana de cáncer de mama, no es tan invasivo y se puede detener antes de que se extienda, pero requiere tratamiento y cirugía con radiación para eliminar todo el tejido maligno.
