CDR Seth J. Rosenberry Memorial Fund

On January 3, 2023, our company was saddened by the sudden and unexpected loss of CDR Seth “Rosey” Rosenberry, a decorated military professional, devoted father, loving son, brother, and friend. Seth was known for his intelligence, quick wit, energetic spirit, and generosity of heart.

Seth was also known as a lover of animals. Whether you had the privilege of listening to Seth talk with great affection about growing up with his ducks and pot-bellied pig, Mucky; witnessed him passionately defend the mice that lived among the brigade of midshipmen in Bancroft Hall’s aging 6th wing; or knew of his volunteer work at local shelters, especially at times when Seth himself would benefit from the unique healing power of working with animals, it was evident that love and advocacy for animals was part of Seth’s character.

For this reason, all money raised for this memorial fund will be donated to K9s for Warriors. K9s for Warriors is an organization dedicated to providing highly-trained Service Dogs, many of which come from high-kill rescue shelters, to military veterans suffering from debilitating service-connected trauma.

We’re calling upon Seth’s friends, family, and shipmates to help honor his life, passion for animals, and commitment to service by funding this worthy cause.
