Jessi Perez Recovery Fund

On Monday March 27, Jessi became a victim of domestic violence. After dropping her four beautiful children off at school, she came home before running errands. After being home for about 15 minutes, her ex spouse, also her children’s father came out from hiding behind a corner in the living room. She immediately asked him to leave. His response was, “I want to stay the day with you before I die.” After continuously telling him, she wasn’t going to stay with him, and he had to leave, he became enraged pointing the gun at his head. She yelled for him to stop and then he pointed the gun at her, saying that he was going to kill her if she didn’t stop yelling. After that he cocked the gun and came towards her. She fought for her life, saying to herself, “There is no way in hell I was gonna let him shoot me and die.” During this altercation She was shot in the back. Luckily the gun was angled and the bullet went in and back out through her back. He panicked and fled the scene afterwards. As soon as she was able to get off the ground, she locked the door and called 911 and was taken to the nearest hospital.

Jeasi survived and is now at home recovering. It will be quite some time before she is able to return to work. She is a single mother of four children. Jessi needs help to provide for her family during this time. Any little contribution is greatly appreciated.
