Gil's Cancer fund

Hi my name is Debbie and I am raising money for my better half, Gil. He has been diagnosed with stage 4 colon and liver cancer and is currently going through chemo.He is a US Navy veteran and was told that he would have free lifetime medical but before his chemo started we found out that isn't true. The copays on medical bills have been piling up and the cost of gas to get to and from his treatments is unreal. He is living on Social Security benifits and only gets a little over a $1000 a month. Gil has always been a big part of the Augusta County community, he donated his time to the VFW Bingo in Staunton where he was the bingo caller for over 20 years.He  also took part in the VFW fundraising and the money donated was given back to people in the community that needed help. (Some of you have probably seen him standing outside of Wal-Mart for hours selling poppies so that he could give back to the community.)  Gil has also been my caretaker for the past 4 years. (I've been paralyzed since 1993) and he has done everything possible to make it easier for me. So now he needs our help and I hope and pray that this community is ready to pitch in and pay it forward. Anything would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
