JCMHS Trojans Hitting Facility Enhancements

The Johnson County Baseball/Softball Program is currently planning on updating and remodeling their covered batting cages. We are in the process of raising funds to help replace the existing structure that will be larger and will allow for both batting and pitching workouts. This structure will be used by all levels of middle and high softball and baseball teams. The new facility would allow the players to have a building that they would use to hone their skills as a baseball/softball player in no matter the weather. The remodeling and closing in of the building allows for so many opportunities!

Due to the weather, we had to use other parts of the school. The remodeling and revamping of our facility would allow teams to get better each day regardless of weather. The existing batting facility was built with just a cover, but over time it has become necessary to lengthen and close in the walls of the facility. The size restrictions also influence the batting area so we have to be “inventive” on the best way to use the space that exists. The new facility would allow for two full length cages and a double cage that allows for pitching mounds and live BP. We would also have room to have weight equipment and other equipment that would help our programs with the task of getting better everyday.

It is at this point that we need to raise the funds to build a new baseball cage that would allow space that would be more functional and useful for our program.
