My Uncle, Jeff Schallenberg's Fight Against Cancer
Donation protected
My uncle has just been diagnosed with Stage 3 cancer, and I would like to ask for your help. He will need surgery at the first of the New Year. His jaw bone will be removed where the tumor is present. His jaw will be rebuilt with his femur bone. He will need many follow-up appointments and treatments. He lives alone and works hard. In fact, all he does in life is work, but he will be out of work for a while as he recovers from surgery and for follow-up appointments and treatments. He doesn’t have a reliable vehicle to get him back-and-forth to medical appointments which are many miles away from his home.
My parents and I are doing what we can to help him, but he needs more help. We hope to get him some financial help with his monthly bills, food, medical bills, and rent while he is out of work and hopefully get him a used, reliable vehicle to get to his appointments. If you can help in anyway, please donate. Every little bit counts.
He is a great guy with a big heart and is a very hard worker. After having a tough childhood and losing his parents as a young adult, he went to college and tried extremely hard to make a good life for himself. He never asks anyone for anything and tries hard to make it on his own. Unfortunately, it seems he never gets a break. Now, with this cancer diagnosis, he has no choice but to ask us for help. The doctor tells us this is a treatable cancer, but he has a long, tough road ahead of him.
We hope this fundraiser helps him, not only financially, but also helps him realize that things will start to look up, that he is loved and that there really are Christmas miracles. Please message me on Facebook if you have any questions or need to verify anything prior to donating. I will be happy to answer all questions.
Thank you for taking the time to read and please know that we will be forever grateful for anything that you can do to help my uncle. Please add him to your prayers! Thank you and God bless you.
