Help Jonatas!

I studied at Ole Miss, Mississippi, for about a year and now I'm just back home in Brazil. My friends and I arrived in the US last June willing to have the greatest experience in our lives. Along the exchange year, we had the chance to meet people from all over the world. We got to know one another and we even got to know ourselves better. We met this very bright and dear friend called Jonatas.
On the first week after the Winter Break, he found out he had a very rare and aggressive type of cancer (Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumor) and had to interrupt the second half of the school year. It was a shock to all of us and I just can't imagine all this happening when you're far from home.
At first, he went to the hospital in Oxford area, but no long afterwards he was transferred to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to receive the proper medical care. It's been a while he is going through medical treatment and his mom is there with him (she doesn't speak English). Since the beginning of his treatment (surgeries, chemotherapy, and others), his young siblings had to stay in Brazil.
While we (all the Brazilian exchange students) were all there, we did anything we could to help him out and to stay by his side during the difficult delicate moments. After the end of our scholarships, we had to come back home. It's very tough for all of us to support him from so far away. We wish we could still be there. In the last couple of days, his situation got worse. The cancer that was already in a metastasis stage reached his brain.
On top of that, after the end of the scholarship period (June 2015), he hasn't been receiving any other stipends.
Jonatas is not able to go back home in this situation and his mom wanted to take his siblings to the United States to see him. Meanwhile, he is not from a wealthy family and they don't have the means to do so. We are trying to fundraise an amount of money that could help his siblings to get passports, visa and airplane tickets.
If you can contribute with any amount of money it will be very helpful to this cause.
Prayers for him and his family!
Thank you very much for your attention!
