Let's build Joey's House!

"...The story of a loyal Veteran, a friend, wanting to change the world....."

    One of my best friends is a fellow decorated veteran ...retired U.S. Army Staff NCO who I met many years ago in the horse business. His name is Joey Manos. He is one of those friends that you share common conditions as veterans...him USA, me USMC...a friend that will pick you up when you are in the ditch by the road of the highway of life. He is also a gifted preacher and is highly respected in his community and in the horse community. He is orginally from Louisiana. Joey is absolutely one of the most honest and caring humans that I have ever met. He has a ministry in a very poverty torn area of the Philippines, Tarlac to be specific. For a year he has been providing aid to the people in this area through a church he has established. But mostly he has been providing hunger aid from his own Army retirement.
 He has a dream ...with real plans... to build a block house....a residence for him to travel to in this area.  The property(land) is already owned by Joey and his wife. The cost of what is an standard block house is about $2500.....But I want to help him build more...build that house that reflects his commitment and courage...to serve his family and ministry... I want to build a $5000 house. I want to help him build a tool for his work and his ministry. The same house in the US would be $50, 000 to $70,000....just in cement blocks and basic materials and labor. Labor for 2 men in Tarlac Phillippines is $40 a day, cinder blocks in the US are $1.75...but they are 15 cents in the Phillipines. 

If you can donate anything please do! ANY AMOUNT! A little can go along way here....And I will consider it a personal favor and will be forever grateful. My friends will tell you if its a winning opportunity to help someone that is helping others, I am all for it. HELP ME REACH THIS GOAL. The benefits for this one house can change the world for hundreds who are already attending his crusades. These funds are specific to construct this one house, which needs to be built as soon as possible. A goal is to be funded and finished by Feb 2018.
