Medical Missionary, Ethiopia Africa

Donation protected
Troubled and confused I joined the U.S. Army at 18. I was deployed to Kosovo, Bosnia, Iraq three times, Afghanistan, and several other Middle Eastern countries. At 24 God changed my life and I desired to do something different. The things I had seen and the people I had come to know changed everything about me. I had six years left to serve so I grinned and bared it serving the last years on my contract in Special Forces. After 12 years I separated with the Army to attend nursing school. I just completed my second step (the first step was getting out of the Army) on the road to becoming a medical missionary on December 18, 2015 by graduating from Tennessee College of Applied Technology as a LPN. One of my classmates is an immigrant from Ethiopia. We became friends and my love for Africa and its rich culture and desire to meet its many needs grew. It just seemed so fitting to make Ethiopia the destination for my first mission trip. My wife, Mikki, my three children, Ruby, Solomon, and Samuel have made sacrifices along with me to be able to serve others locally and abroad and we are very excited about our first opportunity to serve our brothers and sisters overseas!
