Rest in Peace Michelle

Donation protected
We are in the process of organizing a Celebration of Life for Michelle. I will update here. We again, thank you for your support and prayers in these hard times right now. This is a big loss for all of us.

RIP Michelle LaFrance “7/10/78-1/14/24”
I am sorry to say Michelle has passed last night at 7:03pm. She passed in comfort, with her family by her side. I want everyone to know she died with no pain, after all the suffering she endured through this year of fighting this cancer.

Please share and help my family with donations if at all possible for funeral and ceremonial services. Thank you again. We did everything we can.

Update: 1/12/24 I first wanted to thank everyone for their swift donations and support through this difficult time. Thanks to everybody, we were extremely successful in the step of getting her the treatment she desperately needed. At that first appointment at Mofitt Cancer Center, Michelle was too frail and malnourished for them to take her on as a patient. She was given 2 weeks to gain as much weight and strength as possible. During the past two weeks of desperately getting her nutrients through several types of greuling feeding tubes, the cancer has been just too firece. At this point The Moffitt Cancer Center will not accept or treat her as a patient. Chemo Therapy will do more harm than good. After all the pain and suffering, and all the doctor’s recommendations, we finally made the difficult decision to take their advice and get Michelle the comfort she desperately deserves. Tommorow, She will be getting transferred to Avow Hospice Center in Naples where she will be in complete comfort and close to her family. This has been so hard on all of us. Her will to live is so strong and it’s amazing she is still with us today, so we’re going to embrace every minute of it. She’s in gods hands.

Update: 12/27/23 Michelle had her appointment at Moffitt Cancer Center, but we are awaiting some more records and scans to be sent over to Moffitt from UCLA, where Michelle originally had her first treatment. Based on that, we will know if she will even be accepted as a patient at Moffitt. So right now she is on hold for 2 weeks until we get an answer. We know there will be insurance issues moving forward, but will use everything we got for Michelle to keep fighting for her life. Please keep sharing this, continue those prayers for her. We need all the help we can get.

Update: 12/24/23 Thankfully, we got Michelle to Tampa and we were able to get her an earlier appointment to The Moffitt Cancer Center on 12/26! This is the first step for the treatment Michelle needs to save her life. Thank you so much for the donations, from our family to yours! There is so much more that still needs to be done. Please continue to donate, share and keep Michelle in your prayers!

As the proud brother of Michelle LaFrance, it breaks my heart to say that earlier this year, Michelle was diagnosed with cervical cancer. After 7 weeks of treatment, It has since severely increased to stage 4, now metastasizing to other vital organs. We, the family of Michelle, are asking for donations to help cover costs that her insurance does not cover. She is currently in a small hospital in Henderson, Nevada where they can’t help her anymore, she desperately needs to get to The Moffitt Cancer Hospital in Tampa, Florida. Moffitt is an advanced cancer hospital which has doctors and treatments that could save her life. There, is her only chance for survival. Michelle is literally glaring at me right now, as I post this. You may know that look. But she needs help. Please help be a part of the reason to save Michelle. This world is a better place with her in it. Thank you and keep Michelle in your prayers.
