My name is Michele Lowe, I am one of Michael "Big Mike" Lowe's sisters. On Sunday October 1st 2023 in the wee hours of the morning our baby brother left us far too soon. At Allegany Hospital in Natrona Heights, PA, he just turned 48 September 2nd 2023.
Michael was a giant that walked softly, a gem that shown brightly, a wisper that sounded loudly.
He was the baby of our litter. Lisa (big sis), me (little big sis) and Michael.
I thought we would grow old together talk sh*it rogether, fuss together, fight together, agree, or disagree together as we have since Big Wheels and GI Joe's together.
As things like this often do it came at a time when we (I) was ill prepared. We are reaching out to the community our community, HIS community for help. I & my children and grand children one of how is His name sake, want to make the journey to say our final goodbyes. Good bye to my BB and their Uncle Mike. I live in Texas now since 2011 but lack the funding to purchase 4-5 plan tickets, rent a vehicle etc. associated with travel of this kind.
Not to mention Michael's final experiences. I am reaching out to the community of friends and family that knew our father Glen and mother Burdetta Lowe.
The community that grow up with us. The city that was really a family called New Ken. Old and new stomping grounds.
Whatever you can do will be appreciated. Personally with airfare high as it is. Travel, accommodation, and food; we need a min. Of $2500.
Then final experience we need a minimum of 10 - 15k.
If Big Mike added to your life, made you smile, gave you a hug that breathed life into you when you needed it most please consider donating, it would be most appreciated.
Final arrangement are still pending and will be shared once in place. Until then pls. dig deep and give generously. Pleas also if possible share your stories of your personal encounters with our brother. It is a bomb to our souls. Stay tuned to FB for further updates.
