Justice for Aaliyah

Aaliyah Ivory (24) of Park Forest was involved in a Road Rage incident on 7/16/22. She was shot on the expressway not far from her home 6 times while driving. 2 bullets in her back, one of the bullets is 2 centimeters away from her spine. 1 bullet in her hand which 30 bones shattered. 2 bullets in her side. She is already preparing for her 3rd surgery. On this day Aaliya attempted to merge into a construction zone at Vollmer road, this man became angry at her for attempting to merge. At this time, a no name gentleman, who's name the police is withholding; caught up to her and used racial slurs. She responded and drove away, then he caught up to her and begin to shoot from the back of her car. He also came on the side of her vehicle and attempted to shoot her in the face. She blocked her face and was shot 6 times total, in her back, fingers and arms. No justice has been served. Even though they caught the shooter...he was never charged. There is plenty of media coverage...WE WANT JUSTICE!! Is this a racial crime?
We are seeking your help, for there is going to be a long road to recovery mentally and physically for Aaliyah and her family. She will need rehab, help with all of her daily activities, and most of all, help with her 2 year old daughter. Funds will be given directly to her mother (Kimberly Johnson Ivory) and her sister (Ashlee Johnson) to cover medical and recovery expenses so that she can get back to living her beautiful life and taking care of her daughter.
We are praying that God watches over similar families going through violent incidents.
