Grandpa’s Final Goodbye

Hi, my name is Kassandra and I am raising funds for my grandfather’s funeral. He was the kindest soul I have ever met on this earth. He was light, he was peace, he was love ❤️

Throughout his life he fought many things including kidney failure, years of dialysis, lymphoma, and several infections. Unfortunately his kidney transplant began to fail and several complications followed. Due to the anti-rejection meds, his immunity was compromised. A staph infection invaded his body, followed by a gram-negative bacteria. These bacterium are resistant to antibiotics. His organs were compromised and soon started shutting down… decreased kidney function that caused edema, which lead to his lungs to collapse, which lead to him being put on a respirator. In the end, his low blood pressure lead to his heart failing. Doctors told us they would not be able to bring him back since he was not breathing on his own.
