Ford Family Apartment Fire Fund

Around 9:15pm on December 21, 2014 a large apartment building fire irrupted in the Valley Run neighborhood of Wilmington that destroyed the home shared by Rahmir, his mother Karyn, stepfather Darrin, and German Shepherd Leo. The family was fortunate enough to escape the building minutes before the fire spread; however the intensity of the fire resulted in a complete loss of all possessions. Without renters insurance they must now start the difficult rebuilding process, and with your generous donations this family will be able to rebuild their lives much easier.

On a personal note I can’t begin to express how great of a family this is. On numerous occasions they have been there to help myself and others during difficult times. For the last 15 years I have lived down the street from them they have truly become my second family. So I ask you to please donate what you can, every contribution counts no matter the size.
