Domestic Violence leaves animal rescuer fighting for life

Hi my name is Sherri, and I am fundraising to help my dear friend Jennifer Lysak (Founder of Angel’s Haven Boarding and Rescue) that has been the victim of a horrific act of domestic violence. She is in the hospital with severe burns and her recovery will be a very long and painful one. She has been active in the animal rescue community for many years and there are still many animals that are currently in her care that will continue to need support. The goal is to raise funds to aid in covering expenses that will be incurred to maintain the property and to care for the animals during her difficult road to recovery. Domestic violence keeps hurting and hurting. In this case family and friends are heart broken, a life of a wonderful person is changed forever, and many animals are left needing care. The family has asked that the hospital not be contacted out of concern as information can only be released to Jennifer’s next of kin.
