Help Jared and Maureen Rebuild After Eaton Fire
Donation protected
Our dear friends, Jared and Maureen, their children Tyler and Ella, and their 4-legged companions -- dog Rusty and cat Zen -- have lost their house in the devastating Eaton Fire. Like so many others in Altadena, they have almost nothing left, except the clothes they were wearing when they had to evacuate.
Jared is a designer of custom tile whose life work of drawings, prints, and paintings is gone. Together with Maureen, who worked as director of purchasing at a tile company, they created a home filled with warmth, beauty, and generosity -- their house and garden a refuge for their many friends, a haven of peace and relaxation. It was a place they called home for 30 years.
We have known Maureen, Jared, and their kids for over 15 years. They were some of the first folks who befriended us when we moved to town. Our kids have grown up together from pre-school to college. This family means so much to us.
Any support you can offer -- financial donations, words of support, or simply sharing this post -- would be of enormous benefit and emotional sustenance.
