An Angel Gained Her Wings
It’s with a heavy and broken heart that I write and reach out to all my friends and Facebook acquaintances. Last night my beautiful, sweet niece went to sleep and unexpectedly gained her wings. She was only 3 months old; my sister’s first and only child. I am reaching out, to establish this fund in The Biron/Gilberti name to help aid in any comfort my sister and her husband may receive by providing them the time to grieve and bury their little girl properly. For those of you who do not know Caydance’s story please read below. Our family’s hearts ache. I ask for your kindness and generosity in this difficult time. One moment they are planning to celebrate Caydance’s first Christmas and in the next, the unthinkable happens. Any donation, of any size would be an extremely helpful and generous gift.
Thank you deeply
Caydance’s Story:
Caydance Elizabeth was born a fighter, on September 20th 2014, at 32 weeks old. At a whopping 3lbs 4oz, she entered this world and melted all of our hearts. My sister left her home and her job to stay with Caydance in the NICU day and night, never leaving her side. Her father worked full days, then drove the few hours to the hospital to be by his little girl’s side. Miraculously Caydance began feeding, gained weight, and regulated her temperature. My sister was allowed to bring her home two months later on a heart monitored to regulate her breathing. By her mom’s side, she continued to thrive and was just recently removed from the monitor and given a clean bill of health. Then, tragically and unexpectantly on December 23rd, 2014, Caydance went to sleep and became an angel. She is a victim of SIDS. She wasn’t able to spend a lot of time here on earth, but she was loved beyond belief every second of these past three short months. We are blessed to have known this bright little spirit.
