Doug Alves amputation healing fund

I am trying to raise this money not just for me but for my family. I found out today at the hospital due to all the infections stemming from my accident when I almost lost my leg, I need to amputate the infected area on my foot. My last surgery was 3 weeks ago and it has not taken. I have been bed ridden pretty much this whole month and after the amputation I will need to be hospitalized again and at least 6-8 weeks again of healing time to prevent further infection causing a complete amputation. This is all at a very hard time because of the holidays and my wife will have to take care of me as well as our son, leaving us financially in trouble. The past 3 years have been very difficult and we are praying this will be my last surgery. That's why I am reaching out to my family and friends so I can take this time to fully recover and heal my body without this affecting my family too much, especially my son Roland. I just want to make sure he has everything he needs and that I have the time to heal so he can have his daddy home with him. Thank you all for your support and God bless!
