Jabe Beyer medical expenses

Hello friends, Brad Pemberton here. My dear friend and musical brother, Jabe Beyer, has had a helluva past 5 months, and he could use our help. This past July, Jabe fell suddenly and extremely ill, following a tick bite while on vacation in New England. After multiple ER visits and doctor’s appointments, he was diagnosed with Lyme disease, as well as multiple co-infections, including a parasitic infection called Babesea. As anyone familiar with tick-related infections knows, this can be a devastating illness & diagnosis.

After months of intensive antibiotics, accompanied by extended stays in the hospital, the infections have not responded well to treatment. This has forced him to seek out alternative treatments proven to be helpful in treating his illness, though they are not covered by his health insurance provider.

The road now to recovery will likely be long, and unfortunately, expensive. He has been unable to work outside of his home for the past 5 months, and future therapies will involve travel to specialists who offer the treatment he requires to help him get back on his feet and get back to work.

Jabe and his wonderful partner, Abby, are doing their best to keep the bills paid during this difficult time, but they could use a hand. The stress of this illness, coupled with the financial stress of being unable to work, has been tough. Let’s lighten their load a bit, and thank you in advance for anything you can give. Brad
