Funeral for Jacari Reynolds

Dear Family, Friends, and Community:

I am writing this today to let you know we loss our son, nephew, brother, grandchild, and Cousin Jacari Reynolds on June 25th, 2023, we loss Jacari at the very young age of 16 due to gun violence in our community. He had just recently celebrated his birthday on May 5th and his life was taken from us too soon. Jacari was such a light in his community and to his siblings and family. Jacari’s untimely death has left us as his family financially now needing assistance with his burial expenses, and his mother’s loss wages from work as she has three other minor children in the home. Jacari unfortunately at the time of his death did not have life insurance and we’re asking the community for help so we can send him home to the Lord in peace and properly. Our goal is to raise $6,000 to cover his funeral as well as burial. Any help is appreciated as we know not the pain it is to lose a child and especially so young and unexpectantly. Gun Violence is plaguing our communities, and children are having assault weapons put in their hands and the least disagreement with someone they’re resulting to violence. Jacari was in so many words retaliated and assassinated as he laid in his bed in his room that he never had the opportunity to get up from once he laid down, someone took his life in such a malicious way. If we can please help to support his mother through this pain and very difficult time.
