My name is Stephen William code and this is my wife of 31 years, Jacci. We live in the beautiful UP of Michigan. About 1 month ago, Jacci was having pains in her stomach, which got to be excruciating. We ended up calling an ambulance to take her to the local hospital. The very next morning, she was flown to Detroit. She spent 3 weeks there and was diagnosed with advanced uterus cancer. They did all they could. Too late for chemo, we took a 7-hour ambulance ride back. She’s currently at The Trillium House in Marquette. All that can be done now is to keep her comfortable. Jacci fought so hard but lost her battle on 4-14-25   May you Rest In Peace
