Jace Green Cancer Treatment
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Lauren, I am reaching out to you on behalf of my closest friend since childhood Toni, in regards to her 14 year old son Jace.
In February, Jace noticed a mass in his testicle. After a few doctors visits and imaging studies, Jace immediately underwent emergency surgery to remove the mass and right testicle. Surgery went well, and Jace was enrolled in a trial study where his lab work was monitored weekly. Things seemed to be going well, until April. Toni got the call that tumor markers were elevated, and CT confirmed it had spread to his lymph. Jace was diagnosed with stage II testicular cancer, in the form of a mixed germ cell tumor. He was immediately sent in for port placement, and chemo was started that week.
Jace has always been involved with sports, including football, weightlifting, hunting, and fishing. He is also very active in his church, Community of Christ, Navarre. Since starting chemotherapy, Jace has been extremely sick as well as losing his hair, and missing the rest of the school year. Even with all of this going on, he maintains such a positive attitude through his amazing sense of humor and the love of his family.
Toni is a single mom and has raised an incredible son. He has been the #1 man in her life all these years, she has always put his needs ahead of everything else. Toni has incurred major medical expenses, as well as travel costs, and extended time off work. Any donation would be greatly appreciated. You can also donate directly to Toni’s Venmo @Toni-Green-44
