Help Jaci beat the big C!

Hello everyone! I’m setting this up for my person and one of my best friends, Jaclyn Meyers, aka Jaci, as most of you know her as. About 2 months ago, she received the devastating news that she has Stage 1B Grade 3 breast cancer, which is aggressive and fast-growing . Shocked and devastated as that news is, Jaci has maintained good spirits and keeps a smile on her face every day. She still finds ways to brighten other people’s days, even while she’s struggling. She works full time and is a single mom of a 4 year old little girl, Jozlyn, who is her world and her little mini-me, who is right by her mom’s side each and every day.

Jaci’s treatment plan consists of chemotherapy once every 3 weeks, which requires her to miss work on chemo days, as well as missing work on days where she isn’t feeling herself. The side effects from chemo limit her ability to do daily things, including driving, working, and everyday tasks. Her mom has been driving 2.5 hours from Albany at least once a week to help Jaci around the house and to be there with her for treatment days.

Any money raised will help Jaci with everyday bills, any unexpected medical costs and to make up for the time she has to miss at work. Anything is appreciated. And even just sharing this to get the word out, Jaci and her family would be extremely grateful.
