Help Jack achieve his Taekwondo Dream

Hi my name is Karen, Jack's Mum (Dearne) and I are raising funds for Jack to compete at the Virtus Games in Vichy, France in June 2023. Jack started taekwondo when he was 5 years old, I am his Coach, and together with his family and support network, we make a great Team.

Jack has been competing in Taekwondo in Para Poomsae since 2016. He represented Australia at the Oceania Championships in Fiji in 2016, winning Gold, and the INAS Global Games in Brisbane Qld in 2019, placing 6th. Jack represented ATI in the WA State Championships in July and won Gold; he will now compete in the Australian National Championships in Bendigo, Victoria, on December 3rd and 4th. He dreams of representing Australia again to compete in the Virtus Games in France in 2023; Jack has been training up to three times a week to learn new patterns and to improve the ones he knows, to be ready to compete in France. For Jack to realize his dreams, we need to raise $15,000; the money will go towards Jack's Flights accommodation and entry into the event. The Athlete covers all costs associated with travel to the events. Any funds remaining will be used to cover costs of future events.

Jack has a severe Intellectual Disability and is on a pension. It is important for Jack to follow his dream and continue competing in his much loved sport of Taekwondo and to inspire other people with disabilities to follow their dreams.
