Jack Godwin & Ben Davies, Their Road to recovery.
Donation protected
On Sunday 16th April, two local Spennymoor boys were involved in a horrific and very serious road accident in Eggleston, Co Durham.
These Boys are my son Bobby's Friends, he was at the scene of the accident also.
Jack Godwin, 18 years old, who is my son's best friend since primary school, was airlifted from the scene with life-threatening and devastating injuries.
He still remains critical in an induced coma with swelling to his brain. He's already had heart surgery and is looking at further surgery on his pelvis once he is more stable.
Ben Davies is 17 years old, another friend of Bobby's.
He was airlifted from the scene with life-threatening and devastating injuries also to a different hospital.
He is currently critical in an induced coma with a lot of injuries including a fractured neck, broken spine and a bleed to the brain.
He's already had surgery for a broken pelvis too.
As a family we are devastated and we are routing for these boys to make a good recovery in time.
At the moment they can't work and their parents are taking vigil at their bedside.
This has massive financial implications for both families.
Please help me raise some funds to relieve a bit of pressure for both of these families while things are so very difficult for them.
Praying for you Jack and Ben!
Come on boys ❤️
