Jack Ayer Sr. Memorial Scholarship Fund

This scholarship is being is being established to honor the memory of Jack Karl Ayer Sr. , a former Basketball scholarship athlete turned youth and high school coach. This scholarship will be awarded annually in Jack's memory to a qualifying High School Scholar Athlete to further their education. Jack passed away suddenly leaving his two teenage sons, wife and a community in mourning. He was a beloved and dedicated coach from youth through high school level sports and an active volunteer in his community. Jack attended the University of Hartford on a full basketball scholarship where he added additional school records to his already impressive career. He believed in the positive impact sports have on our youth as well as giving back to his community.
