Please stop by to celebrate in the Drive By Birthday Party on Saturday, January 23 to honor Jack for his 100th Birth Day at the Greater Lantana Chamber of Commerce - 212 Iris Ave, Lantana, FL 33462 from 11 am to 1 pm.
We are raising money to benefit Kiwanis Club of Hypoluxo - Lantana Sunrise Foundation Inc. - THE JACK BORNSTEIN CHARITY FUND.
This will be an annual drive to honor Jack's birthday starting with his 100th! All donations will help make an impact on local children needing help. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me. Donations are tax deductible.

One of his greatest passions was giving back to the children in the local community. When Jack retired to Florida, he volunteered at the Morikami Park Elementary School for many years. Everyone there knew Mr. B. He loved being with the staff and children.

Jack I. Bornstein was born January 22, 1921 in Brooklyn, New York. The son of Nathan and Bertha Bornstein, immigrants from Russia, he was the first of their five children. Educated in New York City Public schools, he graduated Boys High in 1939 and attended Brooklyn College.
In 1942 he was drafted into WWII where he fought in the Battle of the Bulge, Ardennes, Rhineland, Central Europe and Remagen Bridge. He was also involved in the liberation of Belgium. He served from 1942 to 1946. In 2015 he was awarded the Legion of Honour from the Republic of France for his service. He graduated Brooklyn Law School and over his career has worked in both public service and private practice. He is the father of three children, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Always involved in community activities and politics, and was a member of the Kiwanis. After wintering in Florida for many years, he became a full-time resident in 2000. In retirement he became a volunteer at the Morikami School where he was a beloved presence for many years.
An avid reader and follower of current events, Jack has always maintained a positive attitude and in his 100th year, he looks forward to the future.
