Bibles for Knox County Detention Center
Donation protected
Jack Dishner, my beloved father and the best man I’ve ever known, passed away suddenly on November 19, 2022. He ministered to many groups of people in countless ways, but one of his passions was to lead Bible study at the Knox County Detention Center every Thursday night. He faithfully shared the gospel and his testimony and prayed with the inmates each week. He so deeply valued these young men. He shared with us last week that these men desperately need Bibles and currently have very limited access to the Word, since all religious materials must come from donors and must meet certain specifications before they can be put in the hands of the young men at KCDC.
To honor Jack, and to magnify the name of our great God, we are eager to provide Bibles to all of the young men (and women!) at the Detention Center. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating a few dollars to help continue Jack’s powerful prison ministry so that more people will come to know the Lord whom Jack Dishner faithfully served to the end of his life.
