Jack Hitt Medical and Funeral Expenses and Bills
Donation protected
This is a story about my partner of 23 years who all his life reached out and helped people in any way that he could such as repair their vehicles, donate money, make repairs to a friend's home, pick up the tab for a group of friends at a restaurant (too many times to even count).
When his friend was in the hospital recently, Jack inquired if a nurse would be so kind as to bring his friend a cup of coffee each morning, Jack gave the nurse $100 and the nurse said that the coffee only costs $2, he told her to keep the rest as a tip.
Once we pulled into a parking lot and it was snowing and sleeting and just a mess outside when we noticed a man waiting at a bus stop (no shelter) and the man only had on a long sleeved collard shirt, Jack grabbed a jacket in the backseat of his truck and ran it over to the man to wear.
Another time, Jack saved a 7-11 employee from being raped - when on a visit to the store he noticed that the manager's office door was open and in the past this door was always closed, when Jack looked in a man was trying to rape a girl, Jack grabbed the man and threw him off the girl and then continued to pursue this individual as they ran outside the store only for the man to turn around and shoot Jack in the leg. Jack is truly a hero.
On August 3rd, he suffered a medical emergency resulting in the next 17 days spent in the hospital (ICU-regular room/ICU) after suffering numerous strokes (7) due to high blood pressure and passed away on August 20th. Unfortunately, his insurance lapsed shortly before this event and he was actually receiving mail from health insurance carriers as well as still had information open on his laptop as he was researching health insurance carriers.
I know that there is a lot of tragedy taking place in the world, Maui, children/adults with major health issues, etc. but I just feel that this individual deserves some help with paying the medical and funeral bills, etc. that are forthcoming.
Any donation would be appreciated.
Thank you.
