Jack Posey's Eagle Scout Project

The purpose of my Eagle Scout Project is to support a local veterans organization, the Renewal Coalition, by providing them with needed kayaks, paddleboards, life jackets and welcome packets for wounded warriors and their families to enjoy during retreats.  Many of these veterans have sustained life-changing injuries. The retreats help each of them and their families relax and refocus.  One hundred percent of the money raised through this Gofundme site, as well as my car show, will go to purchasing these needed items for The Renewal Coalition. I will personally give paddle board and kayak safety demonstrations to the staff along with my fellow scouts. Since 2009, The Renewal Coalition has hosted over 700 veterans and family members at 60 retreats.
