Jackie Caldwell

Jackie Caldwell was/is a loving mother of 2 and a wife to my dad, Kenny Caldwell. She was a spitfire, funny, and adoring woman. Unfortunately she was diagnosed with Lupus 4 years ago. Which slowly broke her body down and cause numerous issues with her health. Starting with COPD. Later down the road it was Heart, Liver, Pancreatic, Kidney, and Lung failure. Friday she had went into the hospital with issues with her oxygen level and feeling as our family calls it, "loopy". When they got her into the room the hospital staff and our family decided to put her into a medically induced coma, to hopefully help her body heal itself. Yesterday (3-10-24) the hospital staff called me and my dad, the decision makers when she cannot. Into a meeting, in which we thought it was to start her on dialysis with her kidney function being low. We figured out soon after that she wasn't progressing any better, was actually doing a lot worse. Her oxygen was still really low, regardless being on the ventilator. Her kidney function was at a stand still of 0%. And everything else was failing right behind it. The hospital staff told us, with even a healthy person in my mom's situation, only had a survival rate of 2%. So dad and i made the hard decision to get everyone she loved in there, to say goodbyes. And at 5:35pm yesterday, my mom took her last breath and went on to heaven. So with that being said, mama always wanted to be cremated and put into her little coffee can, the woman sure loved her coffee. But with me recently having surgery and being out of work, and my dad working and supporting mom, Zach, and himself. We don't necessarily have the funds for her cremation. So i ask, if you could help out, even with a dollar, please do. So we can give my mom the funeral arrangement she has always wanted. God bless and even if you can't help, just thank you for reading.
