Jackie Caswell's Cancer Journey
Donation protected
My sister-in-law Jackie Caswell has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of stomach cancer. She wasn’t feeling well right after Thanksgiving and an ambulance trip to the ER revealed a mass on her abdomen. She was losing a lot of blood and needed transfusions and surgery. She’s had one stomach surgery so far and will need another one followed by chemo and radiation. She is currently battling a blood clot in her leg and scans have shown there is also cancer in her left hip. Jackie just turned 61 and has a lot of life left to live. She is a mother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, friend and special YaYa. She is an educational technician at Gardiner High School and is currently out of sick time as she has not worked since right before Thanksgiving. The sick bank only allows for thirty days of pay. She doesn't anticipate returning to work until this Fall at the earliest. We all know how expensive it is to live right now and I’m hoping to get a little help for Jackie so she can concentrate on her recovery. Her income is being affected hugely due to being out of work and sick time. Donated funds will cover Jackie’s medical co-pays, vehicle expenses, gas, heat and everyday living expenses so she can heal and look forward to returning to the classroom in the Fall. Every little bit helps. Please consider helping Jackie’s peace of mind so that she can focus on her health rather than worry about bills. She is very appreciative and deserving and will pay it forward by working with Gardiner’s teenage special education population as she has done for so many years already. Thank you for your support.
