Our hearts are broken as we mourn the loss of Jackie (Jack) Howard; husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, friend and mentor. Jack passed away June 29th, 2020 after a 3 month long battle with Covid 19. He fought until he could fight no more. For those of you that know Jack, he is a true warrior, whether he is on the basketball court, on the golf course, at work closing deals or whether he was playing bid whist with friends/family or just a "friendly" game of Mexican Train Dominoes with his soul mate. He was a competitor and he always came out on top.
Words cannot express how much Jack is admired and loved. Everyone that met him was drawn to him. He had an energy about him that just made you want to be around him and be in his presence. Whether you needed advice, guidance or just a listening ear, Jack was there. He always had something for you (knowledge), you never left "empty handed". Jack had an upbeat and positive personality that could lift your spirits even when you were feeling your worst. What a gift from God. What a blessing he was to many. I am grateful and thankful that I had the pleasure of knowing him as "Dad".
Jack is survived by his loving wife Brenda of 51 years, sister Dorothy Thompson, brother Andre Howard, son Farrell(Esme), daughter Nicole, grandsons Lil Farrell(Cassey), Lil Tee(Lisa), granddaughters Miranda Hailey, Eva Day, Violet Grace, great grandchildren Noah King, Rama, Yahaira and Violet Love.
Jack has gone on to be with the Lord, we now have an Angel in Heaven that I know will be watching over us until we meet again.
