Jackie McNulty's Cancer Fund
Donation protected
Unfortunately, this GoFundMe isn’t to share the best news. On April 22nd of this year Jackie went into the ER with severe shortness of breath and chest pain that had been developing for the last few months. Upon admittance to the hospital testing was completed, and it was determined that there was a 3-inch tumor in her mediastinum (chest area). A biopsy confirmed that this tumor is a metastasis of her previous Leiomyosarcoma cancer that was found in her abdomen and removed in 2018. Jackie is 27 years old, and this is her third time battling cancer. Her first encounter with the disease was when she was just a year old in 1996 and diagnosed with Wilm's Tumor in her kidney.
Since her recent hospitalization in April, she is now home, but has been unable to work and is experiencing significant pain and discomfort. With a stage IV (4) diagnosis, the treatment is limited and incredibly complicated. Her physical state leaves her unable to financially support herself and afford health expenses involved with overcoming such a life-threatening illness.
Jackie is determined to find a way through this difficult journey as she has in the past, and to live a disease-free life. It is with the help of others that she will accomplish this great feat. We hope to relieve her of all financial burden so that her efforts can be put towards healing, allowing her the opportunity to seek out doctors & therapies she would otherwise be unable to afford. Any little amount you can donate makes a difference.
We inexpressibly appreciate your generosity and sincerely thank you for the sharing of this post.
Love,
Jackie's friends and family

A little bit about Jack if you don't already know her personally:
Prior to her recent hospitalization in April, she was employed full time as a caregiver for the elderly in an Alzheimer unit in Tucson, AZ. She chose this profession after receiving tremendous care from a few wonderful nurses in her 2018 surgical recovery. She saw what a difference quality care can make in a person's life, and felt inspired to give back to others in need. Jackie's big heart not only shines through her work, but shines through in her personal life, as she makes friends wherever she goes. She easily makes others laugh and smile with her silly and kind personality. She is one that is cherished by many!
