GOFUNDME UPDATE AND GOAL CHANGE:

Hey all. First, thank you SO much for all the love and support you’ve shown us. It’s truly amazing that so many of you have shown my family and me love and care through this page, clothing donations, and prayer. My parents are speechless and have included all of you in their prayers and thoughts. After all of this has slowed down, if any of you need anything, I’m indebted to you, truly.

Secondly, WE MET THE GOAL of $10,000! Thank you so, SO MUCH. This has paid for his service and will go to basic needs for my parents.

An update though: A slight bump in the road has caused me to have to change the goal. My parent’s homeowner’s insurance has come up short, and they are around $20,000 off for tear down/selling their house. I’m meeting with a close friend’s financial advisor to get more details and explore more options so that they can move forward with moving elsewhere. My parents are adamant at not moving back into the house or neighborhood due to painful memories and are looking at other options outside of 270.

If you’ve already donated, thank you. I TRULY APPRECIATE IT. If you have no more to give, I completely understand and would just ask for your prayers and thoughts. If you have more to offer, I appreciate that as well. I just wanted to thoroughly explain where the money was going and why the goal was increased for transparency and respect toward you all.

Hey all, it's Danny. As you may know now, my brother Jackie passed away from smoke inhalation due to a fire that consumed my parent's home on February 20th, 2024. This GoFundMe is to help pay for his memorial and cremation expenses and for my parents' basic needs. On top of losing their son, they also lost everything in the fire. ANYTHING you can give would be greatly appreciated, no matter how "small" you think it is. Trust me, to me and my parents, it's the world. You have no idea how much we appreciate all of your love, kindness, and shoulders to cry on. Whatever you can spare, we'll gladly take with love and gratitude.
