Help Jackie Get Her Smile Back

My name is Jake Hermes. My fiance, Jaclyn Selesky has been a meteorologist in Tucson, Arizona since I met and fell in love with her in 2019.

Jackie brings her warm energy and infectious smile through a tv every night to audiences all over Tucson. She truly is that sweet, warm and bubbly in life, not just on television.

Jackie is the light of the room and her friends and family members are always met with her big beaming smile and warm demeanor. She is such a loving and gracious person and someone whose face really makes all those around her smile the second they see it.

On August 16th, 2022, 10 days before our dream wedding in Colorado, which has now been postponed indefinitely, Jackie leaned over to kiss our dog Henry and was bit on the face. The next 24 hours were a blur and have been the most stressful and scary of our lives. Jackie was bit in the upper part of her right lip and lower part of her cheek. The results of the accident were devastating and have left her with a long road of plastic surgery and facial reconstruction ahead.

Our story is just beginning and our lives have been turned over based on this accident. Jackie will be undergoing multiple surgeries and procedures over the coming months to get back to the career she loves and has worked so hard for. (She just finished three years at Mississippi State University, while working full-time, to get her meteorology degree).

Jackie is going to be facing a mountain of medical bills and will be out of work for the next 6-10 months. We know and understand these are tough times for everyone, but if there is anything you can donate to help us overcome the financial obstacles that we face, it would be greatly appreciated.
