Jackie Vs Lyme 2020

Hi Dear Friends and Family, 


On behalf of Jackie Stanford, from her kiddos Sam and Leah: 

Our moms health has deteriorated dramatically over the last 6 years. She has been through a medical maze of tests, specialists, and prescriptions from all corners of medicine only to have her now feeling worse and worse.

She has experienced extreme weight loss, (presently 98 lbs from her healthful 130 lbs), years of insomnia, fatigue, increased cognitive and neurological deficits, acute and chronic pain, and so importantly, a loss of the ability to be fully engaged in LIFE. 

In March of 2020 she was finally tested for and diagnosed with Lyme Disease. She attempted treatment with antibiotics, but they were not well tolerated. After 4 months of antibiotics, she is more sick. 

We were referred to the Lyme Laser Treatment center of North Andover, MA and visited there with her recently. Our visit left us hopeful. For the first time, truly hopeful. We would like to help her afford treatment there. This treatment program is not covered by insurance.

Our goal is to raise $12,000 which we will need within the next 3 months.  If you are able to contribute anything to support her return to health, we would be so grateful.  

The Funds raised will directly support the following costs: 

● The 9 month Lyme Laser Treatment program fee:  $6,300 

● Nutritional supplements in addition to treatment protocol: $1200

● Special dietary needs required by treatment protocol: $2000

● Hiring help for household chores, shopping, cooking, and errands for 6 month period: $1200

● Transportation to and from 30 treatment appointments: $1300


Note from Jackie “This disease has taken my vitality. I am no longer capable of doing the activities I used to enjoy. My goal in these next few months is to ride my bike, take a walk, read a book, practice yoga, cook a meal, drive a car, go back to work, and yes...be able to walk across the street to get my mail!
