Jackie Whitehead Choclear implants

Hi, Margy Whitbeck and Sherri Wendorff are doing a fundraiser for our friend Jackie Whitehead Thornhill. Jackie has a cochlear implant but the other day she fell and hit her implant against a hutch and broke the hearing aid that attaches to the implant. Jackie can't hear and desperately needs another hearing aid.

When Jackie was 16 she had surgery to rebuild her eardrums and it worked. She could hear birds for the first time but this was only temporary and this surgery damaged her ears beyond repair. Eventually, she got her choclear implant and she could hear again but the other day she fell and broke her hearing aid so once again she can't hear.

She has tried to get assistance at many different organizations but can't and Covid had been very hard because she can't hear and can't see mouths through the masks. Everyday tasks are almost impossible and she has a hard time at any gatherings or even the grocery store.

Jackie needs $4000 for a new hearing aid. We are hoping we can all together get Jackie a new hearing aid.
