Jackie's Marathon Challenge
Donation protected
On 25th October 2020, I will be running my first marathon. Due to the current restrictions, this has now become a Virtual Marathon.
I plan to run this marathon in aid of The Irish Cancer Care Night Nursing Service
Unfortunately Cancer is something which has effected lots of families in Ireland, including my own.
Night nurses are free of charge for up to 10 nights.
In 2019, over 1,800 patients throughout Ireland used the Night Nursing service, with Night Nurses providing 7,200 nights of care.
Patients and their families feel more supported and reassured by the presence of an Irish Cancer Society Night Nurse.
The Irish Cancer Society Night Nursing Service is funded almost entirely by money generously donated by the public every year, including on Daffodil Day each March. They rely completely on voluntary donations to run the Night Nursing service.
Please support this wonderful service.
