Jackie's Bucket List: Life is Short. Live It.

I am not important to this story. I'm just the intermediary. That's also why the profile pic up there is Jackie (my sister) and not me.
This is Jackie's story. Jackie was recently diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer, despite only being 46. But this isn't your standard cancer medical bills fundraiser.
We want to focus on helping Jackie live.
When I was talking with her, she mentioned that her idea of a splurge is to get a hot oil treatment along with her haircut.
We can do better than that.
This GoFundMe is to help her enjoy life as much as we can. Our cousin Michelle and I will be acting as Jackie's entertainment guides to help her experience things that she's never had the opportunity to experience and enjoy. The list runs the gamut in terms of expense, so every donation - no matter how small - helps.
Here are some of the ideas we're working on:
- Ice cream social for friends and family (the location of the cancer has made it hard for her to swallow, so this seemed like a perfect option)
- Spa day
- Painting classes
- Local vacation - museums and the like in Fargo (because there are great things up there too!)
- Bigger ticket items like trips to Mount Rushmore or Medora
I told her to dream. And while I can't promise her that we'll be able to fulfill all her dreams, we'll do what we can to knock a few items off the list.
We hope you're willing to help too.
All funds will go towards letting Jackie achieve these dreams. I will solely be managing the funds for this purpose.
