Help Jackie Restore Her Life: Devastated Not Defeated
Donation protected
Dear family, friends, and compassionate strangers:
I humbly come to you as a California resident and long-time friend to Jackie, a resident of the Altadena community who has been devastatingly affected by the January 2025 fires. With Jackie's approval, I am honored to present her story for your consideration and support.
On January 8th, my dear friend Jackie lost her home, her brother-in-law, and one of her nephews in the Eaton Fire. Her grandparents purchased the Altadena home in the early 1960s and started a family legacy by leaving it to the grandchildren after their passing. Jackie has been blessed to live in their family home for over 25 years and has been a lifetime resident of this community.
Jackie will need to rebuild her life from scratch as she was left with minimal belongings and her car. Your donation will help her navigate the hurdles and processes of putting her life back together. She desires to be made whole again and leave a legacy for her family to cherish for generations to come. Jackie said she rises every day since the fire to the reality that she has lost everything, but she does not feel defeated because she has hope that God will provide.
Jackie and those of us who know and love her extend a heartfelt THANK YOU and deep GRATITUDE to you for your kindness, compassion, support, prayers, and generosity.
"The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face to shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace." Numbers 6:24-26
