Jack Waldenmaier's Second Violin Concerto
Composer, Dr. Jack Waldenmaier
left us peacefully at home in the wee hours of January 7th. For a month, his children and grandchildren created impromptu picnics at his bedside. Stories, good food, memories, toasts, gratitude and love filled the room culminating in the shared family joy of New Year’s Eve together. In his decline, caused by cancer, he was cared for by loved ones and was never alone. He left one unperformed score behind.

The goal is to acquire over $55,000 for his classical legacy. We thank you sincerely for your participation and support.
There is no hyperbole in saying that Jack was loved and respected by all who knew him. His heritage is how each of his friends and relatives carry forward his sense of humor, mischievousness, musical genius, financial astuteness, friendship, passion and unmitigated enthusiasm. He was devoted to making each day count.
He demanded excellence, precision, innovation and beauty in his music, his daily works and in his relationships. He was an inspiration and an example as a mentor, a father, a husband, a composer, a conductor, a record producer and a friend. He was, in all aspects of his days, creative and caring.
Jack is survived by his wife, Heather Lynn Carlile Waldenmaier and his three children: Jacob Louis Waldenmaier, his wife, Lara Ursula Waldenmaier and their two children, Suzanna and Joshua. David Erik Waldenmaier, his wife Crystal Chapman Waldenmaier and their son, Rocky. Jennifer Lauren Waldenmaier Harper, her husband, Ethan Harper, his son, Donovan and their son, Paxton.
The family home, Principessa, is in Plano, Texas. As Jack and Heathers’ mutual wish, it will continue to host events which bring family and friends together for conversation, food and fun.
About Jack’s Career
Dr. Jack Waldenmaier was a composer of serious music...classical music. But, he had to make a choice to write in the commercial music world.
His commercial work was a dual career in both music composition and music production. His more than 800 commercial works, which include music of nearly every genre, are heard on broadcasts throughout the world and are distributed through MusicBakery.com where he served as President and Executive Producer.
Jack’s real music was concert music for classical musicians and orchestras. We are devoted to keeping the archives of his compositions both in print and in digital scores. JackWaldenmaier.com holds some of the recordings as well as a catalog of his professional works. He scored his favorite works for full orchestra.
