Jac Mac’s Battle with Stage 4 Cancer: Support Needed

I'd like to share my health update. It's been an unsettling past 6 months.

From what we thought was a Resolved cancer diagnosis, we were mislead.

In early August, thinking I was meeting the head oncologist, it was the head oncologist surgeon saying they want to operate on my liver and remove 3-4 interior tumors.

I was like F this! We were suggested to get a 2nd opinion. We chose Siteman and would take 3.5 months to complete. Ugh.

It was confirmed I still have stage 4 cancer and require surgery. We would learn they would have to grow my liver. So I got an embolization in early December. This blocks blood from right side and flows to middle & left side and eventually my liver grows. Back on chemo so nothing gets out of hand for the next 4-5 months. Found out 3 weeks ago a blood clot developed in my liver, now add blood thinners. An MRI in late April to evaluate progress of my liver growth so it's safe enough for my operation.

I couldn't do this without Rachel & Juliet by my side. ❤️ also my immediate family with their love & support!

I share this because when you're initially diagnosed with cancer (15 months ago) you know absolutely nothing. We've learned just a little bit since but my gut told me to get a second opinion.

I also hope if someone is hiding any pain for a lengthy time to Get It Checked Out.
