"Jack's Delicious cheesecakes, brighter futures"
At Jack's Cheesecake, we're committed to creating a brighter future for young adults with special needs. Since opening in Watkinsville, GA, our homemade, delicious cheesecakes have become a beloved staple in the community. Our business is led by my son Jack, a talented young man with autism who has a passion for basketball, driving, and of course, baking.
Jack started this business as a way to share his love for cheesecake with the community and now he wants to provide employment opportunities for other young adults with special needs. Jack wants to hire his friends to join our team as our business grows. We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to succeed and thrive in their careers, and we're committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment.
That's why we're launching this fundraiser. With your support, we hope to expand our operations and hire more young adults with autism and other special needs. By supporting Jack's Cheesecake, you're not only enjoying scrumptious cheesecake, but you're also helping create meaningful employment opportunities for young adults with special needs.
We have big dreams for the future of our business. We want to open a retail storefront with an industrial-sized kitchen where we can sell our cheesecakes and create them on-site. We also want to take this show on the road with a food truck! These additions will reach a wider audience and provide more employment opportunities for young adults with special needs.
We are very grateful for every donation to our fundraiser. Every contribution helps us get one step closer to our goal of creating a brighter future for young adults with special needs. Thank you for your support!
Besides employment, at Jack's Cheesecake, our goal of creating a brighter future for young adults with autism includes:
- Providing support and resources for these young adults to help them transition into adulthood, such as helping them find housing, locate transportation, and other forms of support.
- Advocating for the rights and needs of young adults that are on the spectrum in your community, such as by working with local schools and other organizations, such as E.S.P. to improve accessibility and inclusivity.
- *Raising awareness about autism and the challenges these young adults may face, and working to reduce stigma and promote understanding and acceptance.
- Providing social and recreational opportunities for young adults with special needs, such as through clubs or groups that allow them to connect with others and engage in activities they enjoy.
