JACKS FUNERAL FUNDS
Donation protected
Sadly Jack passed away on 9th October due to a severe bleed on his brain and no more could sadly be done to help him so now we are trying to raise funds towards Jack's funeral at this difficult time of year
I'm so grateful for all that was raised and the generous donations we have received so far
Jack's story cns lymphoma
My partner jack who has just turned 33 dad to Archie 6 Maria-Rose 3 and step sons Henri-john 15 William 11 has been on the most horrific journey
July 2022 started experiencing severe neck pain we see the Dr on numerous occasions was told a pulled muscle
Took himself to A&E on twice to be told he was taking to much pain relief when experiencing dizziness and vomiting
This went on till November when he collapsed at home 3 times a ambulance was called and finally taken to hospital but to be told he had a sever ear infection treated with antibiotics and Sent home a few hours later
Fast forward a week he collapsed again at 1 in the morning with vomiting no ambulances could get to us so I took the children to grandparents houses and took jack to maidstone A&E to be told he just needed some more anti sickness tablets and antibiotics but jack was crying in pain now in head I asked for a ct to be done to be told he didn't fit the criteria I told the dr I'm refusing to leave till he has a ct finally they agreed and when results came it showed a large mass in his brain pushing on his spinal cord he was eventually blue lighted to kings collage hospital to be given a MRI instead a consultant came to see him at 2 in the morning to say he was in shock how he was still standing still alive he had so much fluid on his brain he would of died if he had not got ct scan that day !
He underwent brain surgery a week later taking a biospy of tumour I met him recovery after 6 hour surgery he told me it was benign and he was going to be OK but the next day the consultant called to say that was not the case and jack has Rare cns lymphoma cancer he spent 4 months on kings have 6 rounds of two different intense chemotherapy finally coming home for a week stay in February he had lost the ability to walk so was in a wheelchair and going back for more treatment every 3 weeks his body responded well his blood counts recovered he taught himself to walk again and he was given a stem cell transplant 30th May he came home and started to rebuild his life
July Head MRI was taken and showed some uncertain images on frontal lobe after a further mri at kings He was given all clear along with pet scan end of August jack was told he was in full remission on the 6th September we celebrated his 33rd birthday the 11th and couldn't wait to start our lives over with our children looking so forward to this Christmas and the two young ones birthdays as he missed out last year
But sadly he had a seizure on Wednesday 13th Sept I rushed him to maidstone A&E he had another ct which showed something in his brain kings was in touch with us the next day and got him emergency mri ct of full body and head the following day Thursday 14th
FRIDAY 15th we was called with the devastating news it was back in his brain only so he is not able to have another treatment that could put him in remission he can now only have a radiation course to shrink the Lymphoma tumours there are 3 and his time here with us is limited maybe a year if we are lucky as you can imagine we are all devasted his children's hearts are broken and we are a complete mess
We just want to make memory's and happy times with what time jack has with us before he deteriorates take our children out for family days and cherish every moment ❤️
