Jack's Medical Fund

Jack Hansen-Bartel is my best friend's son. He graduated from NIST International School in Bangkok, Thailand  back in June of 2014 and did what every high school kids does...Jack celebrated his success and was looking forward to univeristy in Melbourne, Australia.

Jack and some close friends went to Samui to celebrate as this is a popular location for recent high grads of international schools to go after graduation. What should have been a funfilled trip turned out to be a nightmare when Jack was ambushed by two strangers. Jack was so severely beaten that he lost 5 of his front teeth and doctors say he needs his gums and bones graphed and reconstructed in order to be able to get implants. The prognosis is 80% recovery. Surgey will take over 18months and let's not even talk about the costs. 

Jack has to cut up his food into itsy bitsy bite so he can eat...it's a small improvement from the liquid diet he was on for the first two months, as the pain as subsided a bit.

Jack was a scholarship kid and son of a single mother. They cannot afford the surgery and the perpetators have not even offered to help. They are enjoying their life in university whil Jack suffers.

So I ask you, please help Jack.
