Even before we ever had our first kiddo adoption has always been a topic of discussion for our family. We have seen first hand the love that comes from adoption and it's incredible! However, it still took quite some time for us to fully commit and trust that this was God's plan for our family. Lots of prayer has gone into our decision to adopt and we are thrilled (and still a bit terrified) for this amazing opportunity to give love to a kiddo out there in need of a forever family.
As you probably also know, with adoption comes lots of costs! Unfortunately, the road to building a family through adoption can be VERY expensive. We don’t feel that the issue of finances should hinder the longing to bring a child into our family, and while we have been fortunate to have made some wise investment choices to help initially fund this process, we realize it would be challenging to try and afford it all on our own. The $25,000 we are asking for is a portion of what is still remaining.
We know it’s a lot to ask for money and believe us, we feel awkward about it! If you are needing a breakdown of the finances as we go through the steps to ease your mind while giving, we are happy to provide that as well. Please know we do not have ANY expectations from any of our friends & family to feel obligated to donate. However, we know we serve a faithful God and somehow, some way, He will provide for us. So this is us, opening our hearts and humbly asking for your support! Whether that is financially, emotionally, and/or prayerfully - we appreciate you more than you know.
