We found out that not only did the at fault driver not have insurance but that Jack's insurance won't pay for the many prosthetics he will need the rest of his life.

Hi, my name is Kevin Harty. Our twenty year old son, Jackson, was seriously injured by an uninsured driver 02/05/2023 at Goodman Road & Tchulahoma, Southaven Mississippi. He was riding his motorcycle home from work when the at fault driver tried to beat a red light and turned in front of him. Jack was catapulted 40 feet in the air, turning 3 somersaults that ripped his helmet and boots off. It is a miracle that he is alive but unfortunately, one of his legs didn't survive. The damage to his femur required a nail/rod . The worst part is that his shredded left leg had to amputated just below his knee.

Jack has autism and struggles with things that the rest of us take for granted. He's a hard worker and loves having a job, a girlfriend, a dog and his truck and motorcycle that he bought himself. Jack has a tender heart and willingness help anyone, doing it with a smile.The motorcycle was destroyed. But worse, he has a tough year ahead recuperating from this life altering accident. There will be lots of PT and learning to walk with a prosthetic will be his daily focus. Jack has some medical insurance that will help cover alot of his expenses BUT we know that there are many expenses that he will face and our hope is that a little money contributed by generous people will make his recovery a bit easier and bring a smile to this beautiful young man's face.
