Our big day is set for May 27th, 2023. Instead of wedding gifts or a registry, the best gift would be to help us throw the best party ever, so we can all celebrate our long-awaited moment together with our loved ones.

Our engagement happened at a time when things were on the upswing for us, and we dove head-first into wedding planning - we are so incredibly excited to get married! Our dream wedding is to share the momentous occasion with our favorite people, and we felt ready to do that.

Sadly, 2022 had some different plans for us. Since embarking on this journey, tragedy has stricken our families, work has been challenging due to health issues, and we finally moved out of our terrible apartment (if you've been there, you understand) - all at the cost of our financial security.
Rather than a vacuum or a set of dishes, we'd be so grateful for any direct financial help we can get to take care of wedding expenses. We both work full-time and side gigs whenever we can and are working hard to make sure our home is happy and healthy, but due to the unforeseen circumstances we find ourselves in, we are struggling to keep up with all the added expenses of the wedding.

Our wedding is as DIY and budget-friendly as we can make it, but if you've planned a wedding before, you know that things add up quickly. There are just a few more significant expenses that we need help with. Hors d'oeuvres and desserts will be handmade by us, but we want everyone to have a nice meal in between, too. Additionally, the venue, photos and videos, and ensuring everyone is happy and comfortable during our outdoor wedding are all significant factors to us, and these expenses are the highest. We have already received some help in other areas, such as deposits on the venue and Maisie's wedding dress, and planned on covering the rest - until we found ourselves in our current situation. We've been purchasing wedding items as we go and have already taken care of quite a bit, but the cash we saved so far had to be used for bills, and now we are starting our savings from scratch.

We know that just about everyone is struggling right now, and we understand entirely if a financial gift is not possible at the moment! However, the biggest thing for us is to see all of you and have a good time. We know that the people around us are the type of people who will have fun and make us feel special no matter what, so we want to reinforce that there is no obligation to donate to us.

If anyone would like to support us in other ways, we are very crafty and able to help with simple chores! Maisie is always open to watercolor portrait commissions, as well as tarot card readings. If you'd prefer a knitted hat, scarf, or embroidered jacket, she can do that too. We are also happy to lend a hand pulling weeds or a ride to the grocery store - please feel free to contact us with whatever you have in mind!

The community support we've received already has been astounding. We are both so blessed to be surrounded by the most caring and wonderful people, and we cannot express our gratitude enough. We love all of you so much!

Love,
Jackson & Maisie (and Peascod and Antoine)
